How many tickets are visiting teams allowed to purchase for the KU home basketball games? And what happens to the tickets they are allotted if they don't take them all? Whom might those go to?

Jim Marchiony, athletics department spokesman said: "For nonconference games, the tickets allocated to the visiting team are dependent upon the contract, but typically it is between 50 and 150 tickets. For conference games the rule is 75 tickets.

"Most visiting schools take their entire allotment for games at Kansas. Should we have tickets returned by a visiting team, they would go on sale to the public."
