I went to hear folk singer Nanci Griffith at Liberty Hall last Sunday. She mentioned the Vietnam War a couple times, but she didn't look old enough to have many first-hand memories of the war. How old is she?
Griffith, 52, was born July 6, 1953. When U.S. troops withdrew from Saigon when the Vietnam War ended in April 1975, she was 21.
