I'd like to know what pesticides have been used in the public parks in the past few years and what remaining residual levels are being tested - even as their use has been stopped. And, is there a plan as to what pesticides will be sprayed and where?
The Lawrence Parks & Recreation Web site, LPRD.org, has detailed information on which parks have been designated as pesticide-free since June and how to request records on what has been sprayed in your neighborhood park. The city has not done residuals testing in the parks.
