How long do I have to register to vote for the November election, and can I advance vote at registration?
The last day to register to vote or change your registration for the general election is Oct. 18, according to the Douglas County Web site (www.douglas-county.com).
The answer to your second question depends on when you register. In-person advance voting will begin Oct. 13, according to the Web site. So if you put off registration until then, it's possible to register and advance vote at the Douglas County Clerk's Office.
