Is the DLR involved in the construction program for the upcoming school bond issue? If they are, what would be their fee?

Under an agreement with Lawrence Public Schools, DLR Group will serve as program and construction managers, if a bond issue passes.

School board members are developing a bond issue and plan to budget 9 percent of the bond issue to pay the company for serving as managers.

The percentage is not final because the district will negotiate with the company, said Tom Bracciano, the school district's director of operations and facilities planning.

DLR Group has offices around the United States and offers services such as engineering and architecture.
