Is it true that Fred Pawlicki, who has just been named as the interim director for the Spencer Museum of Art, was on the review committee for the recently fired director Andrea Norris?
Lynn Bretz, Kansas University spokeswoman, said: "Fred Pawlicki was one of eight members of Norris' review committee. Dean- and director-review committees at KU do not make recommendations on whether the individuals they review continue in their positions. That decision is made by the administrator to whom the individual reports."
In Norris' case, that was David Shulenburger, provost and executive vice chancellor.
