Is southbound Massachusetts Street between 11th and 14th two lanes or one? It's wide enough for two, but there are no lines painted. Northbound has painted stripes for two lanes.
City Engineer Terese Gorman said: "Southbound Mass. is only one lane wide, but parking is allowed on the west side of Mass., so that is why the driving area seems so large. There are rarely cars parked there, probably mostly on Sunday for church. The northbound side of Mass. does not allow parking, so that is why there are two lanes marked on that side."
