I was wondering, who is going to be paying for the upkeep for the Sesquicentennial Plaza after it is made?

The plaza is part of the city's master plan for the 1,600 acres it leases near Clinton Lake, said Clenece Hills, president of the Lawrence Sesquicentennial Commission. So it will be maintained by Lawrence Parks and Recreation.

Fund raising is under way for the $475,000 plaza, which will commemorate the 150th birthday of the city.
