I've heard people talking about it being too cold to snow. Is there any truth to that?

Ross Janssen, 6News meteorologist, said: "It is never too cold to snow. In fact, the colder the air temperature is, the easier it is to squeeze out ice crystals or snowflakes from the atmosphere. As the air temperature gets colder, there is less moisture content in the snowflakes, which is probably where this idea came about."
