Carolina Panthers coach John Fox was a member of Mike Gottfried's Kansas University football staff in 1983. Who else was on that staff and what are they doing now?
Gottfried, now a football analyst for ESPN, also had Ron Zook, Mike Solari, Bill Baldridge, Jay Bonds, Rick Christie, Mike Dickens, Tommie Liggins, Mike Sheppard and Vic Eumont on his first KU staff. Zook is now head coach at the University of Florida. Solari is offensive line coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. Sheppard is quarterbacks coach for the New Orleans Saints. Liggins is head coach at Murphysboro, Ill., High. Eumont is head coach at New Orleans Jesuit High. The others are no longer in coaching.
