Now that Dave Bingham has become an assistant coach at New Mexico University, what happens to his baseball academy at Sport 2 Sport?
"He's still in charge," said Tiffany Parker, the academy's office manager. "It's an interim position he took at New Mexico, and he'll be back after the season. In the meantime, we have other coaches who are running the operation."
In addition to Sport 2 Sport, Bingham operates academies in Parkville, Mo., and Excelsior Springs, Mo.
The former Kansas University baseball coach led the Jayhawks to the 1993 College World Series.
