When will the Lawrence/Douglas County African-American oral history project panels be on display again in the area? Or are they still on display somewhere locally?
Pattie Johnston, outreach director at the Lawrence Public Library, said the panels are on display at Ninth Street Baptist Church, 847 Ohio. The panels, which were created for the Lawrence sesquicentennial celebration, will be on display in venues throughout the city.
"They are available to any church, public area, business or group that would like to show them," Johnston said.
