Where are red ribbons in support of MADD available in the city?
Red ribbons are available from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Lawrence Police Department on the second floor of the Judicial & Law Enforcement Center, 111 E. 11th St.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving encourages drivers to tie a red ribbon to their vehicles as a pledge to drive safe and sober and to always buckle up during the holiday season.
More than 95 people in Kansas were killed last year in alcohol-related crashes, according to MADD Kansas.
