Why is it that Johnson County Dist. Atty. Paul Morrison is able to say social worker and Kansas University graduate student Teri Zenner was stabbed to death with a knife, but we still don't know how Mary Miller was allegedly killed by her husband, Martin Miller?
Douglas County Dist. Atty. Christine Kenney said information about how Mary Miller was killed had not been released by Lawrence Police investigators nor by the coroner.
"Although there are certain circumstances when the release of facts in a pending criminal investigation are warranted (i.e., soliciting the community's assistance in identifying or apprehending the suspect), I consistently do not discuss evidence in a pending case unless it is disclosed in a public hearing," Kenney said. "I am not familiar with the facts surrounding the investigation of the Johnson County case."
