How many employees who were hired before Lew Perkins took over as Kansas University athletic director in July 2003 still work for the athletic department?
Senior staffers still around are Paul Buskirk, associate athletic director for support services; John Hadl, associate athletic director for development; Terry Hines, associate athletic director for compliance; Rodney Jones, Williams Fund director; Gary Kempf, assistant athletic director for traditions; Brad Nachtigal, assistant athletic director for facilities; and Susan Wachter, chief financial officer. (Note: Jones was ticket manager when Perkins took over but was promoted to the Williams Fund post in May.)
