What were the results of the tool drive for Lawrence High School's theater program?
The tool drive went well, said organizer Alek McElroy, an LHS senior. "We got about 50 tools and about $300 in cash contributions," he said. McElroy organized the drive to collect tools that will be used to build sets for theater productions at LHS. The theater shop at the school has had fewer and fewer tools to work with over the years. "We got all sorts of things, but the one thing we got the most were drills," McElroy said.
