Since the school district is trying to save money, why is the air conditioning turned so low in some buildings that the staff is wearing sweaters and complaining about how cold it is? This occurs from August through May.

"The Board of Education approved an energy-management program for the district that includes setting building thermostats at 74 degrees during the cooling season," said Tom Bracciano, division director of operations and facilities planning. He said concerns about the set point of a particular thermostat should be shared with the building administrator.
