Why does Provost David Shulenburger's wife work one door away from him at Kansas University?
Lynn Bretz, KU spokeswoman, said: "Carol Prentice has worked in the KU Office of Academic Affairs, now the Provost's Office, since the early 1970s. David Shulenburger joined the office in 1989. Shulenburger and Prentice were married in 1994. While Prentice continues to work in the Provost's Office, her salary is set by Chancellor Hemenway, consistent with the KU policy on consenting relationships."
