Are hunting and fishing licenses going to cost more next year? I heard prices are going up because Kansas Wildlife and Parks is having budget problems. I'd like to know how much they are going to cost.

The prices of hunting and fishing licenses are increasing by 50 cents at the start of the next fiscal year on July 1. The increase is for administrative costs and is being passed on through all state licenses and permits that are issued, Kansas Parks and Wildlife officials said. Hunting and fishing licenses each will cost $19 beginning July 1.
