I read the story about the Williams Educational Fund charging extra money for premium season tickets to KU basketball games. How does Kansas State handle football season ticket sales?
If you want good seats to watch Kansas State University's football team, expect to pay a premium.
KSU athletics officials said top seats for season ticket holders cost the price of admission plus at least $1,000 in donations to the school's athletic scholarship fund.
"This is a big trend nationally. It's been going on in the Big 10 since the 1980s," said Sheahon Zenger, associate athletic director for development at K-State. "Here in the Big 12, KU and K-State are the last to go toward this sort of arrangement."
