About two or three years ago there was a baseball player at a baseball camp and he was beaten with a baseball bat in his room. I was wondering if there was any update on his condition.
On July 16, 1995, while playing summer league baseball in Columbus, Ohio, Lawrence High School graduate Brad Harker was severely beaten with a baseball bat by an unknown attacker. He underwent numerous surgeries to correct head and facial injuries, but he lost the sight in one eye. In fall 2000, he earned a degree from Kansas University. Harker lives in Lawrence and works as a paraprofessional at South Junior High School and for the city Parks and Recreation Department.
