I'd like to know where the principals of Riverside, Centennial and East Heights are going now that their schools have been closed. Have they been offered similar jobs?
Mary Rodriguez, the district's director of human resources, said Linda Rogers, Gina Grigaitis and Gary Johnson were offered teaching jobs or federally funded nonadministrative positions.
No final decisions have been made in terms of placing the trio, she said.
There are no elementary school principal vacancies in the district. An opening at Langston Hughes School was filled in April by Lisa Williams, a curriculum specialist with Kansas City, Kan., public schools.
