Because school funding is so low, is the district planning on holding off on pay raises for school board members and the superintendent?

Scott Morgan, school board president, said school board members did not receive a salary.

The superintendent and other administrators will more than likely get the same percentage raise that teachers and classified employees receive, Morgan said.

Teachers reached a tentative agreement with the school board on a 3.5 percent increase in salary and benefits for 2003-2004.
