I would like to know where all the celebrities stayed when they were in town last week for the Dole Institute dedication -- like Robert Dole, President Jimmy Carter and Rudy Giuliani.

Dole stayed at the Lawrence Holidome, 200 McDonald Drive, which was the official hotel for the dedication events. Tom Brokaw, the NBC news anchor, also stayed at the Holidome.

Carter stayed Monday night with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius at Cedar Crest, the governor's mansion. Sebelius has known Carter since her father, John Gilligan, was elected governor of Ohio in 1970, the same year Carter was elected governor of Georgia.

Giuliani wasn't in Lawrence long enough to spend the night. He came in the late afternoon July 21 and had left town by 9 p.m.
