What will it cost to remodel, refurnish and redecorate the governor's mansion for the new governor?

There is no remodeling going on at Cedar Crest, according to Nicole Corcoran-Basso, spokeswoman for Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.

Former first lady Linda Graves did a "wonderful job" overseeing the recent renovations, she said. Sebelius' family has already moved in, Corcoran-Basso said.

The renovation project cost more than $4 million, with $2.2 million contributed from the Legislature and $2 million raised from private donations. The mansion's heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems were replaced, and other features were refurbished or updated.
