How many state quarters have been printed and what was the last state printed?

The U.S. Mint has released 21 so far, starting in 1999. They are, in order of statehood and release, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, Mississippi and Illinois, which came out Jan. 2.

Kansas' quarter is scheduled to begin circulating in 2005.
