Kansas University has had only eight men's basketball coaches. How does that compare to other universities around the country?
Sports editor Chuck Woodling supplied this answer: Kentucky has had 20 head coaches but only five in the last 72 years. Duke and North Carolina have had 18 apiece. Arizona has had 12, and UCLA has had 11. In the Big 12, Oklahoma is second to Kansas with 10 head coaches. Missouri has had 15, with only five in the last 77 years. Nebraska and Texas have had the most among Big 12 schools, with 25 and 23 respectively. Kansas State has had 20.
