What is Kansas University's record in NCAA men's basketball championship games?

After Monday night's loss against Syracuse, the Jayhawks are 2-5 all-time in NCAA championship games. KU beat St. John's, 80-63, in 1952 and downed Oklahoma, 83-79, in 1988. Kansas lost to Indiana, 60-42, in 1940; fell to the Hoosiers again in 1953, 69-68; were tripped by North Carolina, 54-53, in 1957; and fell to Duke, 72-65, in 1991.
