Why is Central Junior High School getting an old portable classroom and Quail Run School getting a new portable? How much does it cost the district to move the old portable to Central? Why can't Quail Run keep the old one and let Central get the new one?
Tom Bracciano, the district's director of facilities and operations, said a used portable classroom would be moved to Central from Quail Run in June at a cost of $7,000.
He said Quail Run wasn't scheduled to receive a new trailer to replace the one given to Central.
Meanwhile, Bracciano said, a Quail Run trailer no longer of use to the district will be sold through sealed bid or hauled to the landfill if no offers surface.
