I wondered what the route will be for the St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday?
Lisa Patterson, communications coordinator for the city of Lawrence, said the parade would begin in the 1300 block of Massachusetts Street and travel north across the Kansas River Bridge before turning east onto Locust Street. The 1300 block of Massachusetts Street will close about 1 p.m. Sunday to accommodate float staging. Massachusetts Street through the 600 block and over the bridge will close at 2 p.m. for the parade. All roads will reopen after the parade.
