I've noticed that Kansas University men's basketball players don't have a U.S. flag on their uniforms this year. Many schools still have the flag. Why did KU stop?
When this season's new uniforms arrived from Nike, KU officials noticed the flags were missing and informed their outfitter about the omission. Nike promised to send the flags.
"When they arrive, we'll put them on the uniforms," said Richard Konzem, KU senior associate athletic director.
