How much does the public spend on Kansas Lottery tickets?

According to a recent state audit, lottery sales in Kansas were $190 million for fiscal year 2002, which ran from July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002. That was $5.3 million more than the previous fiscal year.

Sales of instant-scratch tickets and online Keno were down in fiscal year 2002, but a nationwide record Powerball jackpot of $295 million in August 2001 helped boost year-end totals.
