Sound Off

With Kansas University's football season-opener against Iowa State rapidly approaching, I wonder if you could say what the all-time Kansas-ISU series record is. Any interesting tidbits about it?

Kansas leads the all-time series 43-32-6, but Iowa State has won the last two meetings.

KU leads 23-15-3 in Lawrence and 20-17-3 in Ames, Iowa. The series is tied, though, 6-6-1 at Jack Trice Stadium.

ISU coach Dan McCarney is 3-4 against Kansas.

Kansas' biggest victory in the series was 43-0 in 1952, while its worst loss was 49-7 last season.

KU will face Iowa State at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Ames. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net, Sunflower Broadband Channel 51.
