Why during the Maryland-Kansas Final Four semifinal game did Maryland wear home white uniforms while Kansas wore blue road uniforms? Wasn't Kansas the higher seed and deserving to wear home uniforms?

Kansas wasn't the higher seed. Both Maryland and Kansas were No. 1 seeds and when similar seeds meet, NCAA rules stipulate a coin flip to determine uniform color. According to Doug Vance, KU's director of media services, Maryland won the coin toss and elected to don home whites.
