Who is responsible for the emergency lights at Haskell Stadium? When the power went out Sept. 7, that made for a very dangerous situation.

According to Haskell Indian Nations University officials, renovation work at the south end of the stadium temporarily expended the funds to renovate the north stadium, which included the installation of emergency lighting.

The school had planned to install temporary light fixtures until funding could be secured. However, the schedule for installation was delayed due to the recent storms and inquiry regarding safety and lighting. The university will work to ensure the safety of students and spectators by installing a temporary system.
