I heard a guy talking about a national survey that indicated many high school graduates didn't think much of their educational preparation for college. What's that about?

ACT, an Iowa City, Iowa, company known for its college entrance exam, surveyed nearly 2 million high school graduates in the class of 2001. The survey indicated only 18 percent rated their high school education as excellent. While 43 percent said they believed their education was good, 40 percent said it ranged from average to very inadequate. Two percent didn't respond.
