When is move-in day at KU for the fall semester, and when is the first day of classes?
Jayhawker Towers opens for residents to move in at 8 a.m. Aug. 17. The rest of KU's residence and scholarship halls open at 8 a.m. Aug. 19. The first day of classes is Aug. 23.
Now for the information students really care about: Fall break is Oct. 18-21, Thanksgiving break is Nov. 21-25, the last day of classes is Dec. 13, and the last day of finals is Dec. 21.
