Sound Off
On Saturday night I was going to pick up my husband at the National Guard Armory and I wondered why all the lights were on at Memorial Stadium? Seems like a real waste of energy.
Sound Off receives this question every year. January weekends are prime recruiting times for the KU football program. The lights are turned on to show potential recruits how the stadium looks after dark.
