Is there a law about what age children can be left home alone? And if so, what is the age?

There isn't a law that defines when a child is mature enough to be left home alone, but KSA 38-1502 (cc) says one can be charged with child neglect for "failure to provide adequate supervision of a child or to remove a child from a situation which requires judgment or actions beyond the child's level of maturity, physical condition or mental abilities and that results in bodily injury or a likelihood of harm to the child ... ."
