Is it legal to keep a boat parked on the city streets?

Toni Wheeler, staff attorney for the city, said: "Boats or canoes that are on trailers and are attached to a vehicle (as well as motorized self-propelled campers and non-motorized travel trailers) may be parked on a city street for a period of time not exceeding 48 hours" under city codes. The code "regulates the location of a parked boat, canoe, trailer (and) camper on a public street, so as not to obscure any driver's view of approaching traffic. The city's zoning inspector enforces this provision."
