Does the city require head gear at the skate park at Centennial Park?

Fred DeVictor, the city's Parks and Recreation director, said: "The city has posted rules and regulations for the skate park in Centennial Park. Part of those rules state 'users should wear safety equipment: helmets, kneepads, elbow pads and other safety equipment to minimize injuries.' Regulations go on to explain that the skate park is an unsupervised area; users participate at their own risk and are urged to use caution to avoid injury."
