Al Bonner, the Journal-World's advertising director, said K-Mart made a corporate decision to not include their pre-printed advertisements in newspaper copies sold from machines or newsstands. It is part of the company's strategy and a means of saving printing and insertion costs. Bonner said single-copy customers should be receiving Target inserts, however, and he would be interested in knowing where papers are being sold without Target inserts.
