<EM>On page 7B of the Friday, June 9, Journal-World, there is a large advertisement headed, "Taxed to Death and Beyond." At the very bottom in tiny print it says, "political advertisement paid for by the Lawrence Journal-World." I don't know what this means. Can you please explain why the Journal-World is buying an advertisement of this nature in the Lawrence Journal-World?</EM>
The ad in question first ran June 1, sponsored by the Family Business Estate Tax Coalition. The Journal-World believes this is such an important issue that the newspaper sponsored a second insertion of the ad at its own expense, and so noted. The "tiny print" is no different from that used in the main body of the advertisement.
