I am an LRM Industry dump truck driver and we have our plant right there by Kansas Highway 10 and East Hills Drive where everybody has been having the wrecks. When is the city going to install a stoplight there? It's a very dangerous intersection and something needs to be done. What's it going to take, someone being killed?

This intersection is on Kansas Department of Transportation right-of-way. The city has asked KDOT three times to fund the $1,400,000 cost of a signal, City Manager Mike Wildgen said. It has been turned down three times. KDOT is currently updating its 1998 safety audit for this area.
