Q: Is there a city ordinance for directional signs at intersections? We run an auction company. If there is, how do people get special permission or a permit to have them during the weekend?
Private businesses cannot place directional signs on right of way or city property on weekends or at any other time, said City Manager Mike Wildgen. Signs of "community interest" can be submitted to the city commission for approval.
