As a Douglas County voter who purposely left one of the ballot choices unmarked, did my ballot count or get thrown out?
County Clerk Patty Jaimes said the ballot did count. The county's canvassing board only throws out provisional ballots, which are set aside on Election Day, when the would-be voters aren't listed as registered voters in Douglas County.
