How many Republicans were registered to vote in the general election? How many actually voted? And how many switched over and voted for the Democratic presidential candidate?

Of Douglas County's 52,838 voters registered for the general election, there were 20,262 Republicans.

A:County Clerk Patty Jaimes said there isn't a way to tell how many Republicans voted because a voter doesn't fill out his or her party affiliation. She said there also isn't a way to tell if people switched across party lines in their voting.
