<i>Q: In the Monday, July 24, Journal-World, in the article about the horse shoe playing facility at Broken Arrow Park, why were vehicles allowed to park on the grass? Is anybody allowed to drive on the grass at city parks?</i>

City Manager Mike Wildgen said the city code allows motorized vehicles in parks only on designated roadways or parking lots (except maintenance vehicles). Realistically, people may need to unload equipment at facilities or shelters but should not park for extended periods of time in the grass.
