Jim and Leslie White, Baldwin City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on August 13th at the Baldwin City golf course community building from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. They were married August 5, 1967 at the Fairmount Methodist Church, Fairmount, Kansas. Jim and Leslie have lived in Northeast, Kansas their entire lives. Jim was an educator in Kansas Public Schools for 44 years. Leslie is a mother, grandmother and homemaker. The reception will be hosted by their children, Terri and Matt Twombly, Kevin and Kim White, and Brian and Lori White. Jim and Leslie have two granddaughters, Connor Twombly and Logan White and four grandsons, Isaac, Alex, and Quinn Twombly and Graham White.
