Kevin and Debra Davoren, Tonganoxie, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Rose Davoren, to Jeffrey Thomas Dennis, both of Lawrence.
The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and is studying for an elementary education degree at Washburn University. She is employed with the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence at Pinckney School.
The future groom is the son of Cindy Kirkwood and Tom and Maureen Dennis, all of Shongaloo, La. He is a 2003 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and the farming operations manager at Pine’s International Inc., in Lawrence.
The couple plan a May 30, 2009, wedding at the Tonganoxie Historical Society.
